Aimee Pong is a designer × artist whose two favorite questions are “Why?” and “What if?” She prefers writing from the first person.

Two panel black and white comic. Panel 1: In the corner, a small label reads, 'Age 5.' The artist is shown as a small child with bangs. Her hands hold crayons and are thrown up in the air. With an excited expression, she yells, 'When I grow up, I want to be an artist!' Panel 2: A label reads, 'Age 30'. The artist is shown as an adult, her eyes bulging out and hands grasping the air near her head, yelling, 'What does that even mean ???' Note the artist is now older than 30. She still does not know what that means.

I am a transdisciplinary designer and artist based in Springfield, MO.

The goal of my practice is to draw inspiration and knowledge from all schools of thought and all walks of life. I am particularly interested in how art and design intersects with education and how storytelling and creative processes can help build a more equitable future.

I have 10+ experience in print, branding, editorial and product design, plus a life-long love of drawing, learning and teaching through example and practice. In my design work, I strive to create positive, inclusive experiences for all. In my art, I hope to build small bodies of work that connect us through heart and humor.

Above all, I believe in doing good work with good people.
